The competition had asked to celebrate a Dead Wood Archive that lives in a Learning Resource Centre close to me. The project must utilise the Dewey Decimal System to locate a book. The Dewey Decimal Classification (DDC), or Deway Decimal System, is a proprietary library classification system first publish in the United Sates by Melvil Dewey in 1876. It has been revised and expanded through 23 major editions, the latest issued in 2011, and has grown from a four-page pamphlet in 1876 with fewer than 1,00 classes to a four volume set. Use your date of birth to generate a personal Dewey number. For example, if you were born on 7 January 1996. Your date of birth is 070196 which translates to 070.196. Design Rationale
